Southeast Washington D.C. native, Xavier Deveraux was fascinated at a very early age with death and the facilitation of a deceased body in its transition to its temporary place at the mortuary. So, he ventured from his first realized opportunity to apprentice at his local funeral home. From there he fostered an even deeper fascination with the science related to preserving and disposal of human remains. He went off to school and became first a B.A. degree in Mortuary Science. Then he went into the administrative side of the field and earned his PHD in Funeral Service Administration, with a minor focus in Restorative Arts. He chose this are to specialize in because by this time he foreseen the potential opportunity to purchase and acquire the funeral home he was working in within the West Baltimore, Maryland area.

During his advanced adult years, He was less active and more pragmatic in regards to how he accomplished his kills, and more importantly his methods of disposal of the bodies.

During his younger years, His appetite was vast and his technique was still forming. What saved him from discovery and unwanted attention was his attention to detail. He was still developing his methodology in his approach to eliminating those he felt and thought most deservant of having an immediate departure brought before them..
