Vaughn Barnett. Having also survived the horrific event of watching both his mother and father get murdered right in front of him, with only his younger brother, Langston, and younger cousin, Taylor beside him... His childhood was irrevocably altered from that point on.
Whereas Taylor was whisked off to be the ward of his prominently successful Uncle, the political impresario, Demetrius Fortune, Vaughn, and his younger brother Langston however were whisked away under the rearing of their Uncle Khaleel Proffit. Proffit was one of the most successful and dangerous narcotics traffickers in all of Washington D.C., and the general DMV area. He was especially dominant within the urban cluster of the Southeast.
When Taylor made his decision to follow his Father and uncle into the depths of the Clandestine dealings of the UnderShadow Agency, His entrepreneurial masterpiece "Pure Discretion", needed someone to fill his void atop the budding enterprise. Taylor chose Vaughn.
The Series is comprised of the dealings of Vaughn's World, Delegate Demetrius Fortune's world, and the world of nefarity that belonged to Khaleel Proffit, literally. The show travels with them each as their worlds intertwine, exposing them all to the blissful degrees of their individual successes and their failures and the collateral damages inherent to those.
